Questions and answers about documentation

Updated 6 October 2023

If you need to document that you are vaccinated against covid-19, you will be able to find your vaccination card (an overview of your vaccinations) via sundhed.dk or FMK-online.dk.

The vaccination overview is in both Danish and English.

Your vaccination overview is not a travel document, but it proves that you are vaccinated against covid-19. Before you travel, remember to check the rules regarding covid-19 in your country of travel.

Each country will have its own requirements for what you need to document upon entry. For those countries that still have restrictions, you can check the embassy’s website for information on the requirements. The embassy's website can be found here:

Find us in the world (um.dk).

If you need to document that you are vaccinated against covid-19, you can print out a copy of your vaccination card (an overview of your vaccinations) via sundhed.dk or FMK-online.dk. The vaccination overview is in both Danish and English.

  • On sundhed.dk: Log in and go to Your Health Data, Health Records and Vaccinations. Then click on Print.
  • On FMK-online.dk: Log in and go to Vaccinations. Click on Print Vaccination Card.

A print-out of your vaccination overview documents that you have been vaccinated against covid-19.

Before you travel, remember to check the rules regarding covid-19 in your country of travel.

Although there are now only a few countries that require vaccinations and testing, it is still important to familiarise yourself with the country’s rules before departing.

Check the Ministry of Foreign Affair’s travel advice at um.dk to see if there are still restrictions in your country of travel. If there are, you will be able to find further information about documentation requirements for vaccinations and tests upon entry on the website of the

Danish embassy in your country of travel, see Find us in the world (um.dk)

If you need to document that your children have been vaccinated against covid-19, you can print out vaccination cards for your children at sundhed.dk or FMK-online.dk.

  • On sundhed.dk: Log in and go to Your Health Data, Health Records and Vaccinations. Under ‘Show Vaccinations For’, you can select your child’s name from the dropdown menu. Here you can see your child's vaccination card. Then click Print.
  • On FMK-online: Log in and click on Vaccinations. Next to your name, you will see a drop-down menu where you can select your child’s name. Then click on Print.

If you do not have digital access to your vaccination card, you can grant authorisation to a relative who can then print your vaccination overview for you via FMK-online.dk.

If you have been vaccinated against covid-19, you will have been sent a coronavirus certificate (coronapas) which includes documentation of your covid-19 vaccination.

Some countries still have testing requirements, but not vaccination requirements. You can check the entry requirements for your country of travel on the relevant Danish embassy’s website, which you can find here: Find us in the world (um.dk)

The public covid-19 testing centres in Denmark have now closed. If you need to take a test in connection with work or travel, you will need to use a private test provider.

In the MinSundhed app, you can see your covid-19 antigen test results from private test providers and your PCR test results from both private test providers and, if you have been tested in the healthcare system.

If you printed out your coronavirus certificate (coronapas) before 1 July, the QR code on the passport will no longer work as the Danish coronavirus passport scheme closed on 30 June 2023 and is no longer linked to the EU’s digital platforms for covid certificates. Your printed covid-19 vaccination documentation still confirms that you have been vaccinated against covid-19, even if the QR code no longer works.

The coronapas app was shut down on 30 June 2023 as the EU rules on digital covid certificates expired, meaning there is no longer a legal basis for coronavirus passport solutions.
