An increase in the number of people infected is seen among all age groups. An incipient spread of the disease is also seen at nursing homes and hospitals. The spread of COVID-19 across the nation is now sufficiently critical to make the health authorities recommend the introduction of a series of new temporary measures in addition to the national measures already taken to combat COVID-19.
The measures are targeted at curbing the spread of the disease among young people, in connection with large gatherings, etc. The measures will apply until at least 4 October 2020.
A total of 23 different measures are introduced and targeted at:
- Gatherings
- Restaurants and nightlife
- Retail shops
- Social activities and private parties
- Workplaces and public transport
- The health sector, the elderly care sector, institutions for people with mental disorders or special needs etc.
